Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Hello I am Lynnett and I am the Activities Coordinator at Beaufort Grange.  My job is a big part of my life, and I thrive on seeing residents smiling and having fun.   I'm very outgoing with an infectious personality and have an incredible bond with many of our residents and their families.  Our activities program ranges from arts & crafts,  live music, gardening, trips out, walks and so much more.

As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

M Shed

M Shed

We recently went to the wildlife photo exhibit at the wonderful M Shed on the harbour side. We got up close and personal with this great big lion. They were all very brave and even got close enough for a photo.

Don't Dine Alone

Don't Dine Alone

Activities Coordinator, Callam Hodges-Gray, was at Southmead Hospital over the weekend promoting our 'Don't Dine Alone' initiative, which aims at combating loneliness in the community amongst the elderly.

Beaufort Grange and many other Barchester homes are offering some company and a complimentary three-course meal with the only cost of calling up to book a space at one of our tables.

Out & About

Out & About

We took a trip out in our minibus this to check out the front room library in the Arnolfini. We had a lovely hot chocolate and read up on some Bristol history and some fantastic artists.

Music for the Soul

Music for the Soul

We welcomed Shannon Kitchen (as seen on ITV's The Voice) back to Beaufort Grange after her big tour. Shannon provided a wonderful afternoon of singing and dancing. It’s so nice to have her back and she definitely put a sparkle in a few eyes. Thank you, Shannon!

Bristol Harbour

Bristol Harbour

Residents had a lovely day down at Bristol Harbour. They visited the stunning library on the docks & perused wonderful art books. This was followed by a trip to the coffee shop, and finally with finally a brisk walk in the lovely winter sunshine.
