Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.
Lynnett Heron
Hello I am Lynnett and I am the Activities Coordinator at Beaufort Grange. My job is a big part of my life, and I thrive on seeing residents smiling and having fun. I'm very outgoing with an infectious personality and have an incredible bond with many of our residents and their families. Our activities program ranges from arts & crafts, live music, gardening, trips out, walks and so much more.
As a team we are committed to Barchester's Life Enrichment programme ensuring we work with mind, body and soul.

Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Acorns and Oaks
Every Monday we have the very fortunate job of hosting a playgroup set up by the organisation acorns and oaks. It’s been happening every Monday for nearly three months now and we couldn’t be happier. Intergenerational activities are booming in the care sector these days and we are ecstatic to have our own group on the go.
Ladies Day
We made hats in honour of Ladies Day at the Royal Ascot. Everybody worked really hard and produced some fantastic hats and, more importantly, we all had a great time making them.
Carers Week Celebrations
We paid special tribute to carers at our home for Nationals Carers Week, to thank them for their dedication to the residents they care for. Staff and residents at our home celebrated our care team (pictured) with gifts and a card to thank them for all of their work at the home.
Gardening Club
We started Beaufort Grange’s Gardening Club on a recent sunny Thursday afternoon with the help of our new volunteer, Anmol. It was a great success and we now have strawberries, runner beans and sunflowers growing in our already beautiful garden.
Skittles Tournament
As an alternative to an exercise class, the Memory Lane residents took part in a skittle tournament, and everyone who participated had a blast!
Open Day
Residents and staff enjoyed the musical talents of Will Southcote, who was kind enough to come and entertain us on our open day. Loads of fun was had and the audience had a great time singing along to some classics we all know and love.
