Bamfield Lodge Care Home in Bristol
Bamfield Lodge Care home is surrounded by parks and greenery in South Bristol and is within easy access to local amenities and leisure facilities. At Bamfield Lodge, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour nursing care and residential care.
We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.
Bedrooms at Bamfield Lodge Care Home are located across three floors, and each floor has two of its own living rooms. Residents also have access to a spacious back garden with a sun-trap, ideal for the summer months.
Our team of highly qualified and attentive staff focus on the individual needs of each resident, creating a uniquely tailored care plan for each person. The dedication of our staff can be seen across the board in our catering, hospitality and the implementation of a varied activities programme.
We welcome visitors at any time and are happy to offer helpful advice if we can, so please feel free to call us or to drop in.

Hi, my name is Thomas, and I am the General Manager here at Bamfield Lodge. Welcome to our website!
I’ve worked at Bamfield Lodge since 2018, but have been managing care homes since 2010. My team and I focus on providing excellent resident experiences, alongside fantastic levels of care, and we are very proud of the excellent feedback we receive from families, residents, and, most recently, the CQC.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family and building musical instruments.
I thoroughly enjoy my role here at Bamfield Lodge, and I am always available, so feel free to stop by and say hello.
