Elena-Luminita Porancea
Hello my name is Elena-Luminita and I am the General Manager here at Bamfield Lodge. I look forward to welcoming you to our home!
I have an absolute commitment to the well-being and happiness of the residents with the focus on person centred care. I studied my degree in general nursing, but went on to do an advanced qualification in adult social care and this was where my passion for working with older people began.
Bamfield Lodge is a beautiful home and has a wonderful atmosphere. I feel great pride that we receive so much positive feedback from residents and their families. Myself and the team are here to enrich the lives of our residents every day. I am here to offer support to the residents, their families and the team. For anyone considering care for themselves or for a loved one, our doors are open for you to visit and meet the team.
Laly Al-Rabahi
Hi I'm Laly and I'm the Deputy Manager here at Bamfield Lodge.
With over years of experience in the healthcare sector I am dedicated to my role.
At Bamfield Lodge, I work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure we continue our brilliant care standards,and ensure the highest levels of safety and well-being for the residents.
I am deeply passionate about elderly care, believing that every senior deserves compassion, respect, and a quality of life that honours their lifetime of experiences.
Lavinia Bale
Hello, my name is Lavinia, and I serve as the Head of Unit at Bamfield Lodge.
My journey in supporting the elderly and those in need began over 9 years ago, a cause I'm deeply passionate about. I joined Barchester in 2020, initially as a member of the Care Staff, and subsequently progressed to my current position as Head of Unit. I truly cherish the experiences and bonds formed here.
Anna Okuovara
Anna joined Bamfield during a challenging time back in August and she has been very dedicated to Bamfield and is able to make you smile no matter the situation. Anna has been a trained nurse for over 20 years and is very experienced. Anna enjoys shopping and spending time with her family.
Helen Everett
Hi, my name is Helen and I am one of the Housekeeper's here at Bamfield Lodge.
I take immense delight in my role, as it allows me the privilege of engaging with our residents and listening to the stories of their rich and meaningful lives.
Rhiana Reader
Rhiana, Senior Care Assistant, joined Barchester in 2021. Rhiana has worked in care for a long time and enjoys working with the residents, she is always there with a smile. Rhiana will be happy to assist with any support needed for families. Outside of work Rhiana has a passion for animals.
Katrina Sinka
Katrina has been at Bamfield Lodge for 8 years and is a very dedicated team member and very passionate. Katrina has been a very big support during this hard time. Katrina really enjoys watching old movies, swimming and enjoys travelling and exploring the world. Katrina’s favourite place is the beach.
Kayleigh Strong
Kayleigh joined Bamfield Lodge in June 2022 as a care assistant, Kayleigh is very competent, friendly and takes the best care of your loved ones. She works with a person centred approach and our residents are very fond of her, come and say hello!
Grace
Grace is a care assistant here at Bamfield Lodge. Grace has a lovely gentle nature with our residents and is always sharing a smile. Grace puts person centred care first and always makes sure she spends extra time with residents to have a chat and share a laugh together
Daniela
Daniela is care assistant here at Bamfield Lodge, she has worked in Barchester for a number of years and she ensures that residents are always having fun. She maintains the highest standards of care, and she will always be there with a smile to greet relatives, residents and staff’
Jay
Jay is one of our care assistants here at Bamfield Lodge. Jay has years of experience in specialist dementia care and he always puts our residents first. Outside of work Jay is very family focussed, and he sees the residents, staff and relatives as his wider family.

Hi, my name is Debbie and I am a kitchen assistant here at Bamfield.
