Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

The Magic Table

The Magic Table

We are delighted to announce that we have just had a Magic Table installed, which is an interactive light projector, designed to support residents living with dementia by keeping them engaged through specialised games.

The light projections respond to hand and arm movement, promoting movement, allowing residents to stay stimulated and, most of all, have fun!

You can read more about it on this page.

Oakham Treasures Museum

Oakham Treasures Museum

Residents of Beaufort Grange had the opportunity to communicate with the local people and to stay connected with the community. Some of our ladies enjoyed the wonderful exhibits of the Oakham Treasures museum in Portbury. Staff and residents had a great time together and a nice lunch in a lovely cafe.

BBQ at Beaufort Grange

BBQ at Beaufort Grange

Families, friends and residents of Beaufort Grange gathered together to celebrate the sunshine and to have fun, food and drinks. It was a fantastic day and everyone agreed to have another one like this very soon.

A big thank you to Daisy from Nuffield and all who donated to the cause!

Farm Trip

We took our minibus to the Windmill Hill City Farm to enjoy the sunshine and meet some of the friendly animals, and we were not disappointed! It was beautiful weather and the farm itsself was great fun!

Man's Best Friend

We had a very special guest at Beaufort Grange when Indie and her handler, Ian, joined us to give a fantastic demonstration of her search skills, and her responses to Ian’s commands were incredible. A very rare treat to watch!
