Most days, you will find our Activities Coordinators doing a range of different activities with residents, whether that be in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. It is important that our activities team are passionate about the social events that we provide, and are dedicated to delivering an activities programme that reflect the interests and capabilities of those we support, so that life at Wilsmere House is full of fun.

10 Years of Service
Kamala Gurung has been working in hospitality for the past 10 years at Wilsmere House. He has a passion for neatness and has always strived to do the best job possible. Congratulations, Kamala, and we hope the next ten years will be as enjoyable as the last.
Employee of the Month - October
Uzma Gill was nominated by residents and loved ones for her attention to detail and for going that little extra to ensure that those she supports receive the highest standard of care possible.
Arts & Crafts
Residents enjoyed participating in an aqua art session each week. It helps to build self-esteem and create friendships.
Barchester's 25th Anniversary
October 21st saw Wilsmere House Celebrating Barchester's 25th Anniversary. We were joined by the bishop of Wilsdene, Pete Broadbent, Rev James Mercer and our long term volunteer, Dr. Peter Cotterell, who gave a speech to encourage others to volunteer in any way possible. Our manager, Liliana, also gave a brief presentation on the history of the company and the impact we have residents' lives.
Long Service Award
Jaroslaw Dragon was acknowledged for his long service with Barchester. He receive a congratulations card, along with a bottle of his favourite drink, as well as a £250 bonus reward card.
September's Employee of the Month
Jeni Sima was nominated by residents and loved ones for spending lots of quality time with residents. She has also been a rock to family members who are going through very tough times.
