Most days, you will find our Activities Coordinators doing a range of different activities with residents, whether that be in a group setting or on a one-to-one basis. It is important that our activities team are passionate about the social events that we provide, and are dedicated to delivering an activities programme that reflect the interests and capabilities of those we support, so that life at Wilsmere House is full of fun.

Burns Night
Everyone had lots of fun celebrating Burns Night here at Wilsmere House.
25 Years of Service
Deputy Manager, Annette MacFarlane, at Wilsmere has received a prestigious 25 Year Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester for 25 years.
Annette MacFarlane started at Barchester in October 1993 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.
15 Years of Service
A Maintenance Assistant at Wilsmere House has received a prestigious 15 Year Service Award in celebration of working at Barchester for 15 years.
Lee Swinscoe started at Barchester in October 2003 and has worked with residents and their relatives to ensure that their needs have been met over the years.
Long Service Award
Well done to Senior Care Assistant, Lorna Francis, who recently received her Long Service Award. She was presented with a congratulations card, along with a potted plant and a £250 gift card.
Carers Week Celebrations
Staff and residents held a day of celebrations and gifts to thank care staff at our home who make a real difference to the lives of those in their care.
Celebrating Success
A massive well done to Jarek Dragon, who has completed his Care Practitioner programme. Jarek has worked at Wilsmere House since 10th November 2007 as a Senior Care Assistant and all of his hard work and dedication has paid off. Congratulations, Jarek!
