Activities at Station Court Care Home
Activities make up the most important part of all our days, and at Station Court we ensure there are a variety of social events that reflect the individual interests and capabilities of people we support. All group and individual activities are designed to not only mentally and physically stimulate the people we care for, but to enhance their life skills and feelings of purpose and self worth. All of our team are committed to supporting a full activities programme within the home.

Hi, my name is Carly and I am the homes Activities Coordinator. I joined the home in 2011. I am passionate about our enhancing our residents daily life and delivering a person centred life enrichment activity programme is very important to me to ensure that our residents continue to lead fulfilling lives doing things that they want to and enjoy. Our programme is varied from excursions out on the mini bus ensuring our residents are connected to their local community, hosting events here in the home, virtual events and themed days – no day is the same!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Station Court Care Home
Mother's Day Tea Party
We hosted a tea party with live entertainment in recognition of Mother's Day. Everyone who attended had a wonderful time!
10 Years of Service
Congratulations to Gary McKenna, who recently received his 10 year Long Service Award at Station Court. Well done, Gary!
Summer Fayre
Staff members dressed up as Disney characters – and Batman – for our Summer Fayre on 5th August. Everyone had a blast!
Student Coffee Morning
Student volunteers joined us on 8th August and hosted a coffee morning for residents.
Dog Show
These two beautiful creatures are Max and Jet, who visited the home on 19th July for our Dog Show.
