Hi, my name is Julie, and I am the General Manager here at Woodhorn. Welcome to our website!

I am proud to say that I have been part of the care sector for almost thirty years. I began my journey in care as a care assistant at the tender age of eighteen years. I have worked both day and night shifts, weekends, bank holidays and enjoyed all aspects of delivering high quality care. I progressed from care assistant to senior care assistant and then from a unit manger to a home manager.

Twenty years as a home manager enabled me to gain a plethora of knowledge and experience in the care sector. I have achieved many qualifications and continue to learn on a daily basis.

I remain humble as a manager of a care service and I am privileged to be entrusted with the care of those we support at Woodhorn Park. I strive to enable and empower every resident living at the home.
