Meet the Station Court Care Home team

Our staff are what hold the home together. Each one of these team members are dedicated to providing high quality care and services to those we support, and ensuring that residents enjoy all aspects of life at our home. See below to meet some of our friendly faces:

Ray Robson

Ray Robson

General Manager

Ray has worked in the care profession for the past 32 years and holds a Level 4 RMA qualification.  He prides himself with high standards of care and enjoys walks, music, football, rugby and spending time with his family.

Rachel Mitcheson

Deputy Manager

Rachel has been working at Station Court for more than ten years. She came into the home when it opened in the summer of 2003 as a Senior Carer and was promoted to the post of Deputy Manager in 2010.

Tracey Tait


Tracey has been working at Station Court since 2014 and thoroughly enjoys her job. Despite working in the office, she still finds time to chat with the residents and their families and helps out whenever she can.

Carly Chesney

Activities Coordinator

Carly arranges various daily activities within the home and maintains links with local groups, such as Mind Active, Diamond Dolls and local churches. She fundraises regularly to keep the Resident Fund topped up so they can enjoy day trips out to local attractions, which include Alnwick Gardens, Beamish Museum and seaside resorts.

Terry Cox

Head Chef

Terry has been part of our team since 2009 and enjoys home baking. She has completed her NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery and visits the residents on a daily basis to seek their comments on food preferences.

Bob Mielnik

Head of Maintenance

Bob has worked as Head of Maintenance at Station Court since 2005, maintaining a safe environment for our residents and staff.  Bob has considerable experience in plumbing, plastering, decorating, joinery, and general maintenance.

Julie Mitcheson

Julie Mitcheson

Head Housekeeper

Julie started work at Station Court in 2009 as a housekeeping assistant, within 8 months was promoted to Head Housekeeper, and directs her team to provide a clean and welcoming environment for residents and relatives alike.
