Activities at Red Oaks Care Home

We believe in making a difference to the lives of people living here with us and ensure that we provide a lifestyle full of choice and stimulation that is centred around each resident here at Red Oaks. This includes a whole host of varied activities, together with regular trips out around the region, taking full advantage of the home’s minibus. Our aim is to enable each person we support to continue to do the things they enjoy for as long as they possibly can.

The Owls come to visit Red Oaks

The Owls come to visit Red Oaks

Quietly tucked away in Selsey, you will find Tango and his friends at home in their very own corner of the West Sussex countryside. We have a lovely 'Parliament' of Owls, from the largest Eagle Owls to the smaller Little Owl. Some of our birds have been re homed to us for all kinds of reasons and some have been hand reared and trained by ourselves. We are exceptionally passionate about our birds and their care and welfare is of the greatest importance to us. We offer opportunities to hold, fly and be up close and personal with some of the most majestic creatures in the world.

Pasta & Pizza Day

Red Oaks were very lucky, as on this day we had a new Italian Chef who was receiving training at Red Oaks, so we put him to work!

For lunch he made lots of fresh pasta and in the afternoon he made Pizza base dough for the residents to make their own Pizzas in the afternoon which they all ate for their supper. Great fun was had by all!
