Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Life at Latimer Court Care Home
103rd Birthday for Doris
Happy 103rd Birthday to Doris, she received so many lovely cards, flowers & gifts. The delicious Birthday cake was shared with her friends. Congratulations & lots of love Doris from all the team at Latimer Court.
Flower Arranging Mornings
Some of our residents had a lovely time making fresh flower arrangements to display around the home. Thank you ladies you did a fabulous Job the arrangements have brightened up our home!
Music Therapy Session
We enjoyed a music therapy session, residents sang some of their favourite songs & played with a variety of instruments. A few of the residents reminisced about their childhood and some of the instruments they used to play as a child.
Festive Visit to Webbs Garden Centre
We had a brilliant time admiring the vibrant festive displays & Christmas decorations on our trip to the garden centre. We purchased some beautiful Christmas gifts & felt very festive. The cold weather and trip was worth it & we very much enjoyed a warm drink on our return back at our home.
Animalmania Comes to Our Home
John from Animalmania brought along just a few of his animal friends so that we could learn more about the various animals he looks after. The adorable chinchilla was a firm favourite with residents commenting on how soft her fur was.
Bonfire Night Celebrations Were A Success
Families & friends joined us for a bonfire celebration party, we lit up the sky with our fireworks. We enjoyed eating hotdogs and jacket potatoes whilst watching the fantastic firework display.

Join us for our dementia cafe, enjoy cakes, refreshments, activities & a warm welcome. Family / carers come along too, make new friends in a safe space.
Dementia Friendly Film Club
