Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Games Morning on Our Trip Out
It was games time at Worcester warriors sports cafe. We chose gentle games such as connect 4 & giant dominoes & relaxed chatting to others. The biscuits were delicious too, thank you WW Foundation for your wonderful hospitality.
Ukulele Performance For Charity
We enjoyed an afternoon in the sunshine with a live music performance in our courtyard garden. Local Worcester ukulele group performed a selection of classic hits from Elvis to Lonnie Donegan & more. We donated to their chosen charity as a thank you for their wonderful performance
Trip to Worcester Warriors Support Group
We had a wonderful time at the support cafe, it is open to the local community. We got involved in games & mixing cookie dough. Thank you to everyone at the cafe for making us so welcome.
Cookie The Collie Visits
We had such a treat when we had a visit from the very lovely Cookie the collie dog and her owner Jacqui. Residents absolutely adored Cooke who clearly enjoyed all the attention she received.
Platinum Wedding Anniversary Celebrations!
Dorothy & her husband Gerald had their 70th Wedding Anniversary. They celebrated their Platinum Wedding Anniversary with us. Friends & family came together to celebrate the special couple with tea & cake. The happy couple also received a special card from Queen Elizabeth to mark the occasion.
Gardening Club ~ Grow Our Own Success!
At our weekly gardening club there are always tasks to be done. This week we were excited to see our hard work paying off by seeing raspberries and tomatoes starting to grow.
