Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Life at Latimer Court Care Home
Wonderful Visit from Debutots
What a wonderful visit from Debutots. Residents really enjoyed seeing all the children, they were delightful & such good company. There was much laughter & smiles during the whole visit, we hope they come back to see us very soon.
Gunner Therapy Dog Brings Happiness to our Home
Meet Gunner our lovely new PAT therapy dog. Residents & staff loved meeting Gunner and can’t wait for him to come back, he is so calm, gentle and friendly.
Alpaca Visit for our 10 Year Anniversary
We celebrated our 10th Anniversary in style with a visit from Cotswold Vale Alpaca Experience who were amazing. The Alpacas visited some residents in their rooms, we really enjoyed meeting them & can’t wait to see them again. Then live entertainment in the afternoon with a good old song-a-long, followed by a slice of delicious cake, a perfect end to a brilliant day!
Valentine's Arts & Crafts Session
We welcomed Creative Mojo Worcester in for a Valentine’s special arts & crafts session, residents really enjoyed themselves and the artwork they produced was wonderful.
Coffee Mornings ~ Everyone is welcome
Coffee mornings are a success. Residents were enjoying the chocolate cake, socialising with others, reading the daily paper or our Newsletter. It is a lovely relaxed way to spend the morning. Everyone is welcome
Donations to Acorn's Children's Hospice
A massive thank you to everyone who donated toys to our collection for Acorn's Childrens Hospice in Worcester, the Acorns team were thrilled with all the amazing donations.
