Activities at Latimer Court Care Home
Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Dan Taylor-Edwards
I'm Dan and I'm the Activities Coordinator here at Latimer Court. I joined the team in 2022. I have worked in care for many years as a carer and activities roles, and absolutely love my role here. I love working with the elderly and have a real passion to enrich every day and make their lives as special as they can be.
I have many ideas for group activities and events as well as for individual interactions, and love seeing these ideas coming to life and the difference it makes to each resident's day!

Two Special Happy Birthday's
Happy Birthday to Doris at 104 & Gerald with love from us all at Latimer Court. The cakes were delicious, thank you to our chef & dining team.
New Year's Eve Celebrations
Our New Year’s Eve celebrations were brilliant with festive nibbles, sparklers & fireworks. We all love a party and New Year’s Eve has to be the best reason to have one!
A Christmas Spectacular Shopping Trip
The festive displays at St Peter's Garden centre were spectacular. We purchased Christmas gifts and braved the cold weather, it was totally worth it!
Festive Trip to Garden Centre
We had a wonderful time on our visit to Webbs Garden centre. They have their Christmas decorations & gifts out, the displays were marvellous, we are now very much in a festive mood!
30 Years Care Celebration Party
We had a fabulous afternoon celebrating 30 Years of care for Barchester. Entertainment with Debbie Miles singing followed by a buffet of tea, sandwiches & delicious homemade cakes. Some took to the floor & danced, it was a wonderful atmosphere.
Worcestershire Male Voice Choir Performance
The male voice choir were fantastic. They sang a variety of music & played musical instruments too including the keyboard piano. Our residents & some of their families enjoyed singing along with the choir. It was a truly enjoyable afternoon for us all
