Activities at Latimer Court Care Home

Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.

Here at Latimer Court, we have a varied social programme that includes themed events once a month, painting classes, day trips out, exercise classes and arts & crafts, to name but a few. We strive to tailor our activities to suit everyone's needs, and update our notice boards weekly so that all families and visitors can see what their loved ones have been up to. Our aim is to make sure that those we support can enjoy a happy and fulfilled stay with us.

In our Arts & craft session we always enjoy different ideas, but we especially enjoyed this session as we was making Christmas cards for our loved ones. Hilda said to Dan our activity coordinator with in the home I will only make the one but by the time we finished our session Hilda make 5 Christmas cards, she really enjoyed herself making the cards and can’t wait to do it again.

Knit & Natter

Friday afternoon’s mean one thing its Knit & Natter time with Pam... Jessica especially enjoys coming to along to the knitting session on a Friday afternoon sat with friends, listening to the music while knitting away.

Nail Painting

Our lovely Doris really enjoys having her individual visits from the activity team, especially when she is having her nails painting, Doris says to me that she really fines it very therapeutic and always likes the smell of the hand lotion. Always a smile when I leave her room and a big thank you.
