Activities at Lancaster Grange Care Home

Activities are the cornerstone of a wholesome home experience and our Activities Coordinators are always putting their creative minds to the test by organising new and exciting social events for residents to partake in. Of course, we take into account the likes and dislikes of those we support, so if someone doesn’t feel like trying something new, there will always be something on offer to reflect their personal interests. For the people who may just prefer some peace and quiet instead, we also offer one-to-one time that can be enjoyed with a nice cup of coffee or just a simple chat – whatever they desire.

The big bird watch 2022

Our residents at Lancaster Grange are proud to be supporting 2 events in January and February.

The Big Garden Birdwatch from 28th - 30th January. Our residents have been enjoying their first week of our bird feeding project.  We kept our outdoor Christmas tree in our grounds at Lancaster Grange and residents made natural food in preparation for the Garden Birdwatch. We already have a blackbird visiting daily.

National Nest Box Week 14-21st February. We have donations of Nest boxes arriving from our local community and look forward to starting  our birdwatching.

Eyes down for a game of bingo

A social coffee morning took place in Lancaster Grange this morning.  Our residents enjoyed traditional bingo followed by the January quiz from our valuable resource the Daily Sparkle.  This makes it possible to keep our mind active while stimulating esteem and emotional needs. Lots of pleasure, laughs and happy residents.
