Edingley Lodge Care Home in Newark
Surrounded by serene countryside to the north-east of Nottingham, Edingley Lodge is set amongst picturesque villages, on one and a half acres of grounds. The home offers high quality residential and nursing support to older people, in addition to respite care for those requiring shorter stays.
With a large conservatory opening out onto this rural beauty, and the blooms of the flowerbeds and greenhouse, peace and quiet is never far away. It's also just a short ride on the courtesy vehicle to the shops, pubs and churches of nearby Farnsfield.
The home has 45 rooms, 35 of which are en-suite, and four are companion rooms. There are three, open communal lounges, one private lounge and a well-appointed dining room, all tastefully decorated to the highest standards, so you can be proud to call Edingley Lodge your home.

Hi, my name is Jilu, and I am the General Manager here at Edingley Lodge. Welcome to our website!
I am a nurse by profession and completed my nursing studies in India. I moved to UK in 2010. Since then, I have worked in the health and social care setting. I started my career in the UK as a health care assistant and I joined the Nursing and Midwifery Council. I have also worked as a registered nurse in a number of nursing and care homes. I have experience in supporting and assisting residents with many complex mental health needs. I am very passionate and honest towards my role.
I joined with Barchester in 2019 as a bank nurse, and worked as Deputy Manager and Clinical Lead for a year. I am now at Edingley Lodge as General Manager, responsible for running this beautiful home, building a strong relationship with my residents, their loved ones and the community.
I am very proud to be with a team, who go above and beyond to ensure a safe comfortable place for our residents to enable them to enjoy their life.Get in touch Meet my team
