Hello, my name is Jo, I have recently joined Edingley Lodge in March 2023. I began my career in care in 2007 in a care home as a carer which I really enjoyed making a difference to the residents that lived in care homes.

I then was given the opportunity to be enrolled in courses to complete my Level 2 & Level 3 in Health and Social care and progressing to senior care within the care setting. I then became Team Leader / Head of Care / Deputy Manager - which then gave me the opportunity to learn the management side of a care home.

I have recently completed my Level 5 in Health and Social care management. My role within Edingley Lodge is Deputy Manager and I’m looking forward to supporting the residents within Edingley Lodge to live a fulfilled life within the home.

I am passionate about providing a high standard of care, I enjoy working with the elderly and will always do my best to achieve what I need to achieve to ensure the residents are cared for with respect and dignity.
