Meet the Lancaster Grange Care Home team
From nurses and carers to chefs and housekeepers, staff in our home are here to deliver high quality care and services to those we support. Check below to meet some of the friendly faces you are likely to see when visiting our home:
Hello, I am Sarah Noutch, the General Manager at Lancaster Grange. Welcome to our website!
I am a Registered Nurse with 20 years’ experience. I began my career in the NHS working in the medical division. I came to Lancaster Grange having worked at Barchester’s Edingley Lodge care home as General Manager.
I am passionate about delivering good quality, personalised care. This is reflected within the fantastic team we have here at Lancaster. I am always available for a coffee and a chat, and welcome you to meet our care team and view our home.
Hello, I am Debbie Burns, the acting Deputy Manager at Lancaster Grange.
I am a registered nurse with 40 years’ experience, starting with the NHS working in care for the elderly, acute medicine, the National Blood Service and NHS community nursing. I came to Lancaster Grange having worked at Barchester Edingley Lodge as a senior nurse.
I have joined a great team at Lancaster Grange, where our greatest desire is to deliver quality person centred care to each resident
I studied at Nottingham University School of Nursing, where I graduated in January 2012. My first placement was at Queens Medical Centre in Nottingham, where I stayed for two years & gained some great experience. I then took a position in a care home as an RGN and, in 2015, I started at Lancaster Grange. In 2017, I was promoted to Senior RGN. I love my job and enjoy being part of a great team.
We would like to introduce to you our Head of Activities department Charlotte Thompson. Charlotte has worked at Lancaster Grange for just over 8 years now and prides herself on delivering a person centred approach, valuing equality, diversity & offering tailored activities.
Charlotte is pleased to be welcoming families and volunteers back into the home. Charlotte is a senior activities coordinator and enjoys supporting other homes in our region as part of her job role.
I have worked at Lancaster Grange since we opened in September 2013. I started here as a Maintenance Assistant and was promoted to Maintenance Manager after two years. I really love my job and I’m lucky to be working with such a great team.
Nikki has been a housekeeper for three years and a head housekeeper for two. She joined the team in June 2013, so has seen the home completed, playing a significant part in the ‘fit out’ and preparations for our VIP opening. Nikki has elevated her department to a centre of excellence, training new housekeeping recruits for our region in Barchester. Her lovely family join in many of our social events as part of the Lancaster Grange family, which consists of residents, relatives and staff with their own families. Nikki has unbelievably just become a grandmother for the 4th time!
We would like to Welcome our new Head Chef Paul McCormack to Lancaster Grange Care Home. Paul has been a Chef for 28 years, and started his career in the Territorial Army.
Paul has worked in the hospitality industry from hotels to 10 years at Belvoir Castle & 10 years at the National Trust. Paul is passionate about food and is eager to expand food here at Lancaster Grange.
Our residents certainly enjoy the selection of homemade pastries every morning at our cafe, ranging from homemade sausage rolls to raspberry and white chocolate Danish swirls
