Activities at Hampton Grove Care Home
Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

I started working for Barchester in October 2020. The team here at Hampton Grove have made me feel welcome. No day is ever the same here.
My varied daily activities and events help to create a stimulating engagement programme to enhance the quality of life for each resident within the home.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies

Indoor Gardening
The sound of birds in the background, the scent of fresh flowers in the air, and the light of the sun shining through to our little indoor garden here at Hampton Grove.
National Chocolate Cake Day
Some of our residents decorated their own cake for tea in recognition of National Chocolate Cake Day.
La Befana Day
We celebrated the culture of the Italians on 6th January! Everyone had lots of fun!
Shortbread Day
We made some shortbread in recognition of Shortbread Day. The results were delicious!
Sharing is Caring
Staff have got together some food to be donated to our local food bank, the Salvation Army. This charity is very close to two of our residents here at Hampton Grove.
Staff Receive Vaccination
Staff at Hampton Grove were delighted to be invited to have the COVID-19 vaccination, which has lifted everyone’s spirits after what has been a very challenging year for everyone.
We’ve had a year like no other and the vaccine feels like the light at the end of the tunnel. Our teams have been magnificent in how they have risen to every challenge during this pandemic and we are proud to play our part in this next phase to ensure the most vulnerable are protected.
