Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Letters of Support to Watford General Hospital
The Team at Bushey House decided to write letters of support to the nursing and care teams at Watford General Hospital. We also donated some goodie bags for the team in the Tudor and stroke wards. We hope everyone had a wonderful National Nurses Day
VE Day Celebrations at Bushey
Bushey House in Bushey celebrated VE Day to commemorate 75 years since the end of the Second World War.
Residents also celebrated the occasion with the Help of BBC Three Counties Radio. Bushey was asked to record and document some of our residents memories of VE Day and the War, We all tuned in on Friday to listen to the special broadcast.
We were also treated to a lone trumpeter performance in our beautiful garden while residents tucked into a delicious selection of Traditional cakes and sandwiches
Happy 100th Birthday Pam
All the staff at Bushey House would like to say a BIG Happy Birthday to Pam she turned 100 today
All the staff came together to celebrate with a delicious cake and obvcourse Pams letter from the Queen

Thank you Superheros
Bushey recieved a wonderful surprise from a local charity who had recieved goodies and letters of thanks for our staff here at Bushey House . We loved seeing the Thank you to our Superheros cards.
Beauty bag gifts to staff
Bushey House staff today received beautiful beauty bags from We C U 2020.
All of the staff are so grateful to the local community for showing us such amazing support at this time.
We C U 2020 donated bags full of beauty products for each member of staff and is certainly brought a smile to each of us
Beautiful Gardens
This week the weather has been beautiful so we decided to make the most of Bushey Houses stunning grounds and get out for some fresh lemonade and tasty cakes.
