Activities at Bushey House Beaumont Care Home
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

I started working at Bushey House Beaumont in 2022 in an activities role that I absolutely love. There are very few jobs that offer the daily satisfaction and fulfilment that mine does. I am delighted to be able to play my part in helping to bring joy and laughter into our residents’ daily lives and offer them an interesting choice of events to do just that.

Residents at Bushey House Beaumont had a wonderful afternoon drinking cocktails and watching a One Woman Concert Stage version of the popular musical "My Fair Lady."
With @FionaHarrison-AVoiceinaMillion Ruth, resident at Bushey House said "It's my favorite musical of all time and I had the most delightful afternoon."

An afternoon with the Bushey Symphony Orchestra.
Residents enjoyed a fabulous trip to The Grange Academy to see the Bushey Symphony Orchestra. The concert was lead by Martin Smith and included "Cosi fan Tutte" and The Lark ascending.
Thank you we really enjoyed the concert and had a wonderful afternoon.

All of us at Bushey House Beaumont knows how important it is to keep active. Today Hannah delivered her weekly exercise class using kit given to us by our friends at the Sporting Memories Foundation We started with a warm up including chair marching and also worked with keeping our upper bodies strong and stretched.
After all our hard work we enjoyed a lovely cuppa and a delicious slice of home baked cake.

Residents at Bushey House Beaumont had a wonderful afternoon and celebrated VE day in style. We hung out the flags and sung along to war time songs with Fiona Harrison

Residents at Bushey House were treated to a wonderful war time show and songs from the past. Residents really enjoyed Fiona Harrison performance but also marveled over her "real deal" costume.
Supporting the Red Trust Bushey.
The team from Bushey House Beaumont visited The Red Trust Bushey with Barchester Bags full of food for their community food bank,
The Red Trust are always grateful for donations of food and are also asking the community to help them with toiletries and skin care products.
Bushey house will be collecting donations of toiletries to deliver to the Red trust on 1st June. Please leave your donations with Mary Jane our General Manager,
