Activities at Bluebell Park Care Home
Here at Bluebell Park our aim is to enrich the lives of our residents, through group, and individual activities.
We have a wide range of activities designed to mentally, and physically stimulate the people we care for, including regular trips out in the mini bus, and taking part in the community led events that happen in the village we live in. We hold monthly resident meetings so our planning reflects their wishes, and requests, for example we now hold a regular bingo club (which residents families love to attend) and a bowling afternoon which the gentlemen here particularly enjoy. Entertainers and musicians regularly come into the home and families and friends are always welcome to attend too.
Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, and we strive to have a full range on offer. Our team here at Bluebell are dedicated to ensuring our residents enjoy, and get as much out of our entertainment as possible. It is without a doubt our mission is to make sure that life at Bluebell is active, fun, and most of all happy.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Bluebell Park Care Home
Memory Walk
A member of our housekeeping team – Tracey Solomon – signed up to take part in a Memory Walk for Dementia UK.
To show support, a few residents and their loved ones got involved and enjoyed a little walk around the canal path behind Bluebell Park.
Although it was a rather windy day, this did not stop our determined residents from getting involved.
Congratulations to Tracey, who has so far raised £480 for Dementia UK; and thank you to residents and their loved ones for their contribution.
Residents' Garden
As you can see our residents have been hard at work creating their own vegetable patch! They have been doing this as part of our Gardening Club at Bluebell Park.
Mercia Marina
Some residents enjoyed cake and tea during a visit to our local marina. As you can see from their smiles, a great day was had by all.
Secrets to a Happy Marriage
John and Beryl celebrated their wedding anniversary at Bluebell Park recently, where they revealed their secret to a happy marriage after spending 73 years in wedlock.

The Parlour
We are proud to announce the opening of The Parlour – Bluebell Park’s very own beauty salon.
Thanks to Trish and Tracey’s vision and Gary’s hard work, we have transformed our hairdressing salon into a beauty salon, where residents can enjoy an invigorating foot spa, a hand massage or manicure. It will also be available for families to use during evenings and on weekends.
