Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home

Residents Enjoy Harp Experience
Beaufort Grange were delighted to welcome back harpist Lizzy Bennie. Lizzy not only performs for the residents, she also brings along miniature harps for residents to have a go at playing. The harp is such a beautiful instrument to listen to and with Lizzy's lovely singing it was such an enjoyable afternoon.

Bunny and Bloom Visit Beaufort Grange
Beaufort Grange residents had a wonderful day with a visit from the adorable rabbits and guinea pigs from Bunny and Bloom! The joy on our residents' faces was priceless as they enjoyed cuddling and stroking these furry little friends. The rabbits and guinea pigs were incredibly well-behaved and content, making the experience even more delightful for everyone involved. The therapeutic benefits of animal interactions are truly remarkable, there really were smiles all round.

Curing and Boccia!
Beaufort Grange residents have visited a local retirement village to enjoy having a drink in the cafe and also to take part in some different activities. Everyone greatly enjoyed having a go at curling and boccia. Boccia is a Paralympic sport created for those with limited mobility and interestingly has no Olympic counterpart. Thank you very much for making us so welcome.

Residents Visit Grimsby Farm
Beaufort Grange residents enjoyed a trip to Grimsbury Farm in Kingswood. What a great outing meeting ducklings, goats, sheep, guinea pigs, chickens and pigs, residents loved being able to be so close to the animals. Thank you so much to the team at Grimsbury Park they were so welcoming, we can't wait to visit again!

Celebrating Beaufort Grange's 10 Year Anniversary
Happy 10th Anniversary Barchester Beaufort Grange. Beaufort Grange opened its doors on 17th July 2013 and has very much become a part of the local community and then new area Cheswick Village. We also celebrated our senior carer Tracey who has worked at the home since it opened, thank you Tracey for all your hard work and dedication over the past 10 years.

Mini Beauforts Bubble Fun!
We are always delighted to welcome our mini Beauforts! Activities Coordinator Lynnett has ensured there are a wide variety of toys and the bubbles were a big hit! This is a relaxed group enjoyed by all who come along and our residents love seeing the little ones.
