Activities at Beaufort Grange Care Home
Our teams are trained to enrich the lives of residents through stimulating the mind, body and soul, and taking the time to learn about each person to ensure everyone receives support that adds enrichment to their life.
Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Lucy Lock
Hello, I am Lucy and I have worked at Beaufort Grange since 2015, starting as a care assistant I have progressed to senior care assistant and now into my role as an Activities Assistant. It's always a pleasure to keep the residents updated with community activities. What I enjoy about my job is making everyone laugh and keeping residents and staff entertained. You will often hear me singing as I walk down the corridor!
Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Beaufort Grange Care Home

65th Wedding Anniversary
We had the pleasure of celebrating the 65th wedding anniversary for our wonderful residents Dennis and Betty. The home was decorated in sapphire and silver decorations to mark this special occasion.
To mark this brilliant milestone we celebrated with a brilliant performance by Bob Gessey.
Happy anniversary Dennis and Betty, here’s to laughter, family and love! Thank you for allowing us to be part of your special occasions.

Easter Baking Bonanza!
We had an incredible baking bonanza for Easter at Beaufort Grange. We were busy creating delicious Easter cakes and biscuits!
Our residents had a wonderful time reminiscing about cherished memories. One of our resident even shared that baking was something he never got to try in his life; instead, he fondly recalled watching his mother bake cakes and biscuits during his childhood.
Baking is always a hit with our wonderful residents, we cant wait to see what they cook up next!

Oakham Treasures Museum
Beaufort Grange took a trip to the Oakham Treasures Museum!
It was stacked full of memorabilia, such as classic cars, games and every day house old items.
It was a brilliant day out for our residents who could remember many of the items on display being in their own childhood homes. Its always heart-warming to hear all the different stories that our residents love to share with us.

St David's Day
We had a brilliant day celebrating St David's Day!
To be in line with Welsh traditions, we decorated our home with flags, daffodils and leeks. We were also treated by our residents who made the very traditional Welsh Cakes.
It was a great day, enjoyed by all.

Birthday Celebration!
Our help desk assistant Dennis turned 70! We celebrated this marvellous milestone with a party and cake.
If you have ever visited us at Beaufort Grange you will see that Dennis is a key member of our community and it was a pleasure for all our residents and staff to be able to celebrate this special day with him.
Happy Birthday Dennis from everyone at Beaufort Grange!

International Bread Week
International Bread Week
We love celebrating a national day here at Beaufort Grange, and this week it was the turn of International Bread Week!
What better way to celebrated than getting stuck in and baking over very own bread! Well done to our wonderful residents for these delicious home made bakes. They went down a treat.
