Activities at Wheatlands Care Home
Our activities team are great at building the activities programme around the likes and interests of the people we care for. Ensuring that our social events offer fun and adventure is part of the ethos of our home; it’s important that those we support can enjoy an active and social lifestyle. Of course, there will always be those who prefer peace and quiet, and in these instances, a cup of tea and a chat are always welcomed.

Activities and Events Partnerships
As part of our bespoke life-enrichment programmes, we host a number of live virtual events in the home on a regular basis through a number of partnerships with places of interest and world class performance companies
Life at Wheatlands Care Home
Entertainment at Wheatlands
Residents and staff enjoyed a sing along and a dance when Paul Watkins joined us at Wheatlands.
National Fast Food There
We took a trip to McDonalds for lunch where residents and staff all enjoyed a meal.
World Funfair Day
We had the best day celebrating ‘World Funfair Month’. There was fresh air, crazy golf, bean bag tossing, hoopla, hook-a- duck, juggling and SPLAT.
World Heart Day
Residents had a lovely time wrapping up heart-shaped chocolates and making little cards for everyone at Wheatlands. It’s the little things that mean so much, to know each and every one of us are appreciated.
Vicar Visit
After so long, it was so nice to have a visit from Reverend Matthew Stafford. It was such a beautiful service!
Teacher Appreciation Week
To celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week, we dropped a basket of treats off at our local school. They work so hard and it was lovely for them to receive their well-deserved treats.
