The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.
Hi, my name is Claire, and I am the General Manager here at Mount House and Severn View.
I originally started at Ottley House Care Home (a sister Barchester care home) many years ago as a Care Assistant. I left to continue my development and to complete my mental health nurse training, which was something that I had always wanted to do and an area that I was very passionate about.
I am still very passionate about my role and ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of care and are treated with dignity and respect at all times.
I returned to Ottley House in 2015 as the Head of Unit for Memory Lane. I remained in this position for 18 months and worked hard with my team to move the unit forward and successfully achieved Barchester's dementia care training accreditation.
In January 2017, I took a post at a different company, which gave me the experience managing a large nursing home.
In February 2018, there came an opportunity for me to return to Ottley House as the Deputy Manager, which I did without hesitation, and I am now at Mount House and Severn View as the General Manager.Get in touch Meet my team
