Michelle Middleton-Price

General Manager

Welcome to Mount House & Severn View's website; my name is Michelle and I am the General Manager here.

I qualified as an RGN in 2009, following a long career with the NHS. I am originally from Yorkshire, and I relocated to Shropshire in 2014, which is when I made the decision to leave the NHS after 17 years of service and steer my career towards the independent sector.

I worked for Barchester from 2015 to 2016 as a Deputy Manager at one of our sister homes, but due to personal commitments, I had to find a job that allowed me to work closer to home. I then secured a position as General Manager with another company, leading a home that was initially rated as 'Inadequate' by the CQC to achieve an all round 'Good' rating after 19 months.

I am very passionate about the delivery of high quality care and I like to empower team members to progress in their careers and to achieve their individual potentials.

I have an open door policy for all residents, staff and visitors, so feel free to pop in.

Kelly Richardson

Deputy Manager

Kelly has been working at the Mount since 2017. She worked within the NHS and for the Army for a long time. She has the lead role on clinical issues and supports the General Manager in all aspects of running the home. Kelly leads a team of loyal and dedicated nurses and carers.

Shirley Lewis

Team Leader

Shirley is a Senior Carer and is also the Team Leader at the Mount House. She has been working here for over 6 years and is currently training to be a Care Practitioner. She provides support to all of the Care Assistants.

Michelle Baker

Head of Activities

Michelle has been working at the Mount for over 12 years. Michelle is Head of Activities and endeavours to provide a broad ranging activities for those we support. This is based primarily around the wants and needs of residents, but we also like to make our programme as varied as possible, with lots of musical entertainment, holistic therapies and social events within the home and out in the local community.

Gill Davies

Administrator

Gill has been at Mount House for 12 years, originally as Administration Assistant and now following promotion last year as Home Administrator. She is responsible for administration and all financial aspects related to the running of the home.

Damian Lawley

Head Chef

My role is to create well-balanced and nutritional meals using locally sourced ingredients to provide a dining experience to remember for all residents and family members to enjoy. I have been working at Mount House for over two years and have extensive experience in the catering industry. I ensure that every meal is not only delicious, but reflects each individual's likes, dislikes and dietary requirements!

Daniel Mockridge

Maintenance Assistant & Gardener

Daniel works alongside the Head of Maintenance and is responsible for maintaining the grounds and buildings, ensuring a safe environment in which to live and work.

Second Chef

Steffi has been working at the Mount House for almost 4 years and was promoted to Second Chef about a year ago.

Becky Lewis

Administration Assistant

Becky works alongside Gill the Administrator, she has been working at the Mount House for almost 5 years and is responsible for administration and all financial aspects related to the running of the Mount House. The admin team is always on hand with a friendly welcome and offers of assistance.
