Activities at Trinity Manor Care Home

Activities are an integral part of life at our care home. We want to ensure that the people we support have as much fun as possible during their time with us, so it’s important that our activities programme is created with the interests of residents in mind. Our skilled Activities Coordinators bring a certain uniqueness to the home that can’t be found anywhere else, and which is reflected in the activities they organise.

Armistice Day

We were delighted to be joined by service personnel from The Wildcat Maritime Force Headquarters at RNAS Yeovilton today as we commemorated those who have sacrificed their lives for their country.

Bringing with them the most gorgeously decorated cake to share, residents were thrilled that they got the opportunity to spend such a special time in any service personnel's diary with them.

After the 2 minutes' silence for Armistice, residents chatted at length with them all about their careers and highlights so far in the Navy.

Thank you all for joining us, it meant so much for you all to be with us for this occasion.

The Land of Nod!

The lovely Jan came to visit us recently, with another groaning table full of trinkets and memorabilia from yesteryear and oh, what a morning of fun and reminiscing we had!

She also came in the summer with items linked to holidays, then again to do with items used in farming. This time, it was all about 'Bed Time' and she even touched on all things Remembrance.

As per usual, the staff were roped in to don a few daft looking outfits, much to the residents delight!

Let's Sparkle!

Some of our residents recently enjoyed celebrating the season with some wonderful sparklers!

With good old 'health & safety' in mind, using some carrots as holders, residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed themselves, drawing patterns and shapes out in the garden!

It looks like great fun!

Spooktactular Flowers!

What an amazingly good job was done by our lovely residents recently, who spent the afternoon arranging some bright blooms inside some seasonal pumpkins.  They loved the brightness of the colours and spent time chatting as they showed off they individual displays.  We think they look fantastic on display in our reception area, what do you think?
