The Merritt Centre just across the hosts various concerts, art exhibitions and drama performances that residents and loved ones can enjoy hassle free. Sherborne is also home to one of the most renowned schools in the country to, which we have a great relationship with.

Dementia Care

We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.

The community is broken up into small units with a family feel, helping people feel safe and comfortable. Services are based on independence, dignity and choice, supported by a person-centred approach to care. Staffing levels reflect needs and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood.

We have created a video to showcase our stunning care home, which you can view below:

Sohail Daniel

Senior General Manager

Hi, my name is Sohail, and I am the Senior General Manager here at Trinity Manor Welcome to our website!

As a Registered General Nurse, I have worked within the private care home sector ever since 2009, where I have been able to learn, develop and share my skill set in order to benefit the residents I look after.

During my time working within the dementia sector, I was able to access specialist knowledge on how to encourage and enhance the lives of the individuals within my care in order to facilitate living life to the fullest in the most independent and dignified way possible.

Finding ways to adapt and overcome situations, so that residents can still really enjoy all the things they love, has always been a great passion of mine; showcasing that you really can live well with dementia.

Supporting the families of those in our care is also something that I feel very strongly about, and from the time of enquiry, through to moving in and beyond, I aim to support the families as much as the resident themselves. This can often be a huge change as their loved-one adapts to new surroundings, but I am well aware of how important reassurance and constant communication is for all involved. This is something that the Trinity Manor family are very good at as a whole, and I am so lucky that I get to share all my knowledge and work with such a fantastic team.
