I joined Henford as a Kitchen Assistant and was pleased to be promoted to Head Chef when the opportunity arose.
I enjoy cooking and creating menus for residents, who all have differing tastes and diets. This always makes for some interesting meals! I encourage those we support to suggest menu ideas and options, which can result in some unique alternatives and combinations.
All our food is prepared from fresh in the kitchen. We welcome family and friends who are joining their loved ones for lunch or supper, and host a monthly Lunch Club for people in our community to come in and sample our food. We also promote a Don't Dine Alone initiative, where people who don't wish to eat alone can come in to enjoy some company and a delicious lunch.
