Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Gardening Club

We now have over 15 members of our Gardening Club – and it's still growing!

VE Day Celebrations

Residents, staff, family members and friends came to Ritson Lodge for VE Day celebrations. We hosted a singer and a street party for the occasion.

Oral Hygiene Talk

On Thursday 22nd March, we had an Oral Hygiene Talk with Mandy. She came in and set up a stand and then showed our staff and residents why it is so important to have good oral hygiene and how we can all best achieve this. She also gave us information on any issues we might come up against and how to find solutions for them.

International Women's Day

Female residents at Ritson Lodge were celebrated on International Women’s Day. We had a reminiscence session, which involved singalongs, talking about old fashion tips and having a look at 1940s memorabilia, such as washboards, hair rollers and make-up. The ladies were laughing and joking and had a wonderful time talking about the good ol' days.
