Julie Bayes

General Manager

Welcome to Ashfields Care Home. My name is Julie Bayes and I am the General Manager here.

Previously, I had been working as a Deputy Manager for Barchester Healthcare for 6 and a half years.

I have been fortunate to work with a number of client groups in both the private and public sector including, the Royal British Legion.

I have been in care for over 20 years, working with learning difficulties, children, mental health, elderly and dementia.

Work around Dementia is a passion of mine, as my own mum had this, and I truly believe in the saying never judge a person until you have walked a mile in their shoes.

I am very passionate about the care of dementia and I am excited about my new role and look forward to taking Ashfields forward to a positive future.
