Raaj Purohit
Hello, my name is Raaj and I am the General Manager here at Ashfields Care Home.
I have been working in Residential and Dementia Elderly Care Services for nearly 20 years now and as an experienced home manager I fully understand how difficult the transition into new surroundings can be - which is why my highly qualified team and I are committed to fully support you and your family throughout this journey and always.
Delivering fantastic care for our residents is truly what drives me every single day and the team and I are dedicated to guaranteeing that all of our residents are treated with dignity, respect and attention - thus in turn enabling them to celebrate life in their new Barchester home which I feel exceptionally privileged to be a part of.
I am always available to chat, my door is always open, and I look forward to welcoming you and our community friends to Ashfields Care Home very soon!
Gemma Simpson
Hello, my name is Gemma, and I am the Head of Care here at Ashfields.
My passion since I was very young has always been looking after the elderly and Dementia Care.
I really enjoy working at Ashfields and providing care and support to our residents and future residents that choose to make this their home. It is paramount to me that our residents live happy and healthy lives receiving the highest quality of care at all times.

Dawn Bunting
Hello, my name is Dawn and I am the Administrator here at Ashfields Care Home.
I joined Barchester in 2012 and I am here to assist with any contractual questions that you may have and also to ensure that our residents and their families are fully supported by our home.
I have always enjoyed working closely with people and especially meeting residents, their families and friends. If there is anything that I can do to help - please do not hesitate to ask and I look forward to welcoming you at Ashfields very soon.
David Crawford
Hello, my name is David and I am the Head Chef here at Ashfields Care Home. I pride myself on preparing high quality food and seeing our residents enjoy the dishes that the team and myself create makes me very happy.
Our Hospitality team here at Ashfields are committed to providing seasonal home cooked menus offering choice, nutrition and quality - including exciting menus to specific individual dietary needs and all appetites.
The food we produce is hugely important to our residents which is why it is absolutely imperative that we always get their feedback and continuously meet the needs and nutritional quota of every single resident who chooses to make Ashfields their home.
Tony Bunting
Hello, my name is Tony and I am the Head of Maintenance here at Ashfields Care Home.
Helping to make our home inviting, comfortable and safe for our residents, relatives, guests and colleagues is absolutely paramount to me.
I am exceptionally proud to work for Barchester and am committed to maintaining the highest standards in everything that we do for those that have chosen to make Ashfields their home.

Hi, my name is Dagmar and I am Head of Housekeeping here at Ashfields.
I especially enjoy spending time with our residents and getting to know them as my team and I maintain the highest level of cleanliness and standards throughout our home. I love to help our residents settle in and ensure everything is just as they like it every single day!

I joined Barchester in 2013 and always enjoy spending time with our residents to ensure that they receive the highest quality of care at all times. I aim to make Ashfields a home away from home for our residents and to help support them with their daily routines.
Ellie Scott
Hello, my name is Ellie and I am a Senior Care Assistant here at Ashfields.
I joined Barchester in 2020 and nothing drives me more than ensuring that our residents receive the best possible care every day – exactly how I would look after one of my own elderly relatives.
It is an absolute pleasure to help our residents settle into their new home and see them join in all of the great activities we have going on at the home too!

Hello, my name is Zack and I am a Peripatetic Senior Care Assistant here at Ashfields.
I joined Barchester in 2019 and I have always enjoyed helping people. I like to spend time with the residents and their loved ones, listening to their stories and ensuring we support them when needed.
