Activities at Ritson Lodge Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Royal Wedding Day

Residents and staff, along with family members, enjoyed a street party in honour of the royal wedding. There were lots of decorations, which were mostly made by members of our fantastic arts & crafts club, and our kitchen team put on a wonderful spread for the afternoon.

Getting Creative

Getting Creative

We made wooden door plaques during our most recent arts & crafts session. They were decorated by residents themselves and many were given to loved ones as gifts.

105th Birthday Celebrations

105th Birthday Celebrations

Grace had a card off the Queen on the morning of her 105th birthday. She found it very funny how she had to scribble on the electronic screen to have her card of the postman. We hosted a big birthday party later in the afternoon, with the King of Rock 'n' Roll in attendance, along with lots of Grace's friends and family members.
