Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ritson Lodge Care Home
Happy 30th Birthday Barchester
We had lots of fun here at Ritson Lodge celebrating Barchester’s 30 years of care. Happy Birthday Barchester!
A trip to Cherry Lane
Our residents enjoyed a trip out on our home Minibus to Cherry Lane Garden Centre. Needless to say the trip included a bit of shopping, seeing the Christmas lights and Coffee - with Cake of course!!! We all sure had a lovely time!
Remembrance Day
Our residents at Ritson Lodge had a busy week preparing Poppies for their wreath to lay at the village Memorial in time for Remembrance Day.
Residents, staff and the home’s community friends also held their own service and silence at the home to honour to those brave men and women who gave their lives for us. Lest We Forget.
Thanksgiving Day treats for the James Paget Hospital
Siobhan - our fantastic General Manager at Ritson Lodge went to the James Paget University Hospital for Thanksgiving Day to say a big thank you to all the amazing staff for their relentless hard work. Needless to say the Chocolates and Donuts were well received!

Film Afternoon in home Cinema
Film afternoon at Ritson Lodge Cinema complete with Popcorn, nibbles and Sherry of course!!! What a great way to spend rainy afternoon!!!
