Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hi, my name is Rita and I am the Activities Coordinator.
I have many years of experience in Activities and I have been with Barchester since 2018. I previously worked in Chelsea in another Care Home working with all of the West End stars!
I love being part of the Ritson team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting and varied activities available every week. Learning about the residents and including their interests, hobbies and life experiences into the activities that we provide is one of the most rewarding aspects of working here. I am always one of the first to introduce myself to new residents so that we can chat about what kind of activities they enjoy.

Merry Christmas!
Everyone is happy, happy here at Ritson Lodge..... Merry Christmas to everyone from all of our residents and staff here at the home!
Christmas Party to celebrate no more Masks!
What a Christmas Party we had here at Ritson Lodge - complete with live entertainment dancing and copious amounts of delicious festive food and Baileys too!
The party was also a chance to celebrate the fact that (following extensive risk assessments)our team is no longer required to wear Face Masks following updated Government guidance.
* However, Face Masks will continue to be worn by staff when:
• A person receiving care is suspected or confirmed as having the virus.
• A staff member has been in contact with someone with the virus.
• There is an outbreak of the virus at the home.
* Masks may also be worn when a resident receiving care requests a staff member to do so. Whilst some of our staff choose to continue to wear a Face Mask and we fully support their choice.
Creative Mojo - Festive Art Session
We have been very creative here at Ritson Lodge and had a lovely Christmas Art & Craft session with Creative Mojo this morning.

Christmas Extravaganza
Ritson Lodge Christmas Extravaganza was simply amazing! A very big thank you everyone who came and supported such a special event from General Manager Siobhan and all of the home team.
Spreading the festive cheer with our community friends
Our Home Administrator Gemma from our sister home (Oulton Park Care Centre) and Customer Relationship Manager Dan went out to meet the local community and spread the Christmas cheer at Tesco Great Lowestoft. Needless to say the Chocolates did not last long and everyone was in a great festive mood!
