Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Hi, my name is Rita and I am the Activities Coordinator.
I have many years of experience in Activities and I have been with Barchester since 2018. I previously worked in Chelsea in another Care Home working with all of the West End stars!
I love being part of the Ritson team and supporting our residents to live their best lives with fun, interesting and varied activities available every week. Learning about the residents and including their interests, hobbies and life experiences into the activities that we provide is one of the most rewarding aspects of working here. I am always one of the first to introduce myself to new residents so that we can chat about what kind of activities they enjoy.

It always amazes us how the toddlers bring so much joy laughter and life Ritson Lodge every week. Children and adults all enjoy the interaction as you can see by the smiley faces.

Pet Therapy
Our residents here at Ritson Lodge just love to see Prince and Angela when they visit for our home Pet Therapy Sessions. Our staff Ann Marie also brought her pet Indie in. Lots of cuddles and lots of smiles - what a super day!

King's 75th Birthday Celebrations
Today we celebrated the King's 75th birthday at Ritson Lodge with a party fit for the King with home made cakes, pots of teas with lots of dancing laughing and singing.
Every one had a fabulous time with the amazing Johnny laff who entertained us, we all enjoyed the celebration.
