Activities at Queens Court Care Home

Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home, providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active. Throughout the home, there is a choice of lounges, which have been designed for people who enjoy socialising and love making new friends. Music therapy, speakers of interest, events, cinema screenings and family events are offered regularly, as well as the Book Club or Poetry Corner, for those who enjoy quieter activities. Our social programme is varied and exciting and is available seven days a week. You can be as busy as you like. Our friends of Queens Court regularly support our special events and activities at the home, which include trips to the seaside and National Trust site

Life at Queens Court Care Home

MP enjoys our hospitality!

Stephen Hammond, MP so enjoyed the cup cakes we presented him with last week, he sent us a photo of him eating one at his home address!

"Please thank Shaaron and all the team for a fantastic visit last Friday. Here is a picture of me enjoying the wonderful cup cakes you so kindly gave me. I didn’t want to appear greedy however my wife and daughter told me off for not taking all of them!"

VE Day Celebrations!

The Swingtime Sweethearts did not disappoint bearing the chilly outside space to delight us with wartime songs. We sang, we danced and we thoroughly enjoyed more delicious, but specially prepared "VE" day cakes by chef, Ros!

"Back on the Bus!"

Queens Court residents were delighted to be able to "Get back on the Bus" and enjoy a scenic trip out in the sunshine again! This is a regular activity and the options are many and endless in our wonderful local area!

Local MP Visit

We were delighted to welcome our local MP, Stephen Hammond to Queens Court today. As our Mayor did, he wanted to say a special thank you and pay tribute to Shaaron Caratella, General Manager and all the team for their great care and safety of our residents through these very challenging Covid times!
