Activities at Queens Court

Our activities coordinators are constantly striving to mentally and physically stimulate our residents by organising group and individual activities for anyone and everyone to participate in. There are regular outings in the minibus to nearby places of interest including the local theatre, as well as visits from PAT dogs, musicians and well loved entertainers. We also host activities such as our Dance Classes which we encourage relatives to come along and join in with. Activities are one of the most important aspects of our care home providing fun and companionship, so it is essential that our team are dedicated to ensuring that residents are entertained and that life at Queens Court is fun and active.

The Care Home Awards

We recently had the opportunity to attend the Care Home Awards at the Excel Centre, as we had been nominated in 2 categories. Although we didn't win, we had a wonderful afternoon that was filled with fantastic food, lots of wine and great company. Thank you to the CHA – we will see you again next year!

National Gardening Week

Our Senior Carer, Siva, planned a whole week of garden-themed activities. She bought all the necessary materials and, at the end of the week, we had a celebration in recognition of all the hard work that everyone did.

Chef Academy

This was a very successful experience for our up-and-coming chefs. On this day, the session was all about pastry.

Residents really enjoyed when staff from Zoolab brought along some amazing animals to the home. Both residents and staff got a chance to hold a snake, a millipede and even a spider.
