Activities at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community

Afternoon Singalong

Afternoon Singalong

We had a happy afternoon singalong with entertainer, Hugh Dent, who is a firm favourite with residents. All the old favourite tunes, plus a selection of Vera Lynn classic, were enjoyed by everyone in the home.

Tree Planting

Tree Planting

A tree planting and homily took place at Prestbury Beaumont's garden to celebrate the life of one of the oldest residents. A small gathering of staff and relatives exchanged memories and short prayers for her before a sapling red oak was planted in a plot overlooking the home she lived happily in for several years.

Home-Grown Apples

Home-Grown Apples

Staff and residents, including General Manager, Sarah Lydon, enjoyed some home made apple juice pressed from our own apple orchard. This was provided by Food4Macc, who use our gardens and orchards to grow produce which is then donated to charity.

Autumn Comes to Prestbury

Autumn Comes to Prestbury

The many trees surrounding Prestbury Beaumont are all changing to gold and red. Some residents have been collecting the various coloured leaves for use in a leaf collage when they
have dried. Once this is complete we will show you the finished artwork.
