Activities at Prestbury Beaumont Care Community

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Residents and staff thoroughly enjoyed afternoon tea together recently. There was lots of laughter and we used the time to plan our activities programme for the rest of the year now that spring is on its way.

On Open Day, residents enjoyed some armchair exercises to the tune of some delightful country and western music.

Friendly Owls Swoop In

Friendly Owls Swoop In

We had a hoot of an afternoon with some friendly owls from Stockley Grange Animal Centre, who visited the home recently. Residents met several beautiful owls, including this magnificent barn owl called Spike.

A Special Gift

A Special Gift

Here at Prestbury Beaumont, we have some famous names as neighbours. One special sportsman – Wayne Rooney – lives next door to us.

His son, Kai, had his 8th birthday recently, so Wayne kindly sent one of three cakes over to us to enjoy.

This hould keep us going for a few days!

Singalong Afternoon

Singalong Afternoon

Residents enjoyed a singalong afternoon at the Beaumont with Barry Mansfield on the keyboard. Barry plays jazz with a local band, but loves to roll out the old favourites for us.
