Activities at Parley Place Care Home
We understand that the people we support have passions and interests that could be difficult to pursue after moving into a care home – but that doesn’t mean we don’t encourage them to try! Some hobbies can define a person, so our Activities Coordinators are dedicated to ensuring that everyone we support is able to do what makes them happy to the best of their abilities. Social events are organised with individual tastes in mind and with the idea that residents have the opportunity to try new and exciting things.
Brian Ramsay
I love being a friendly face for our residents. A day in their lives should be filled with the care they deserve and enriched with activities. We embrace each and every moment and make memories, I have many skills and a passion to provide our residents with the social interactions, lots of activities, smiles, laughter and fun.

Life at Parley Place Care Home
Mini Bus trip
Our first mini bus trip this week, the residents wanted to visit the countryside where they spent alot of time with their families, so Brian and Lee took them on a trip to Badbury Rings, what a beautiful afternoon.
Big Coronation Picnic
The rain didn't damper our spirits as we moved our Big Coronation Picnic inside and enjoyed food, music and dancing.
Diamond Diva's
We welcomed the Diamond Diva's to entertain us with toe tapping songs we could join in with, all whilst raising money for Macmillan.
Swarovski talk
We had an interesting talk on Swarovski including seeing a display of glass sculptures
Sammy Visits
We had a lovely visit from Sammy the miniature Shetland pony, he was so calm and lovely and we looked forward to seeing him again in the home soon!
Helpful Hounds Visit
We enjoyed a lovely visit from Peter and Sally with the gorgeous Raffi. He has such a lovely temperament and is loved by all the residents here.
