Kings Park Care Home in Ferndown
Kings Park in Ferndown provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focus on the individual needs of each resident.
The home features a wide range of facilities including a café leading onto our landscaped gardens, a hair and beauty salon, and luxurious spa bathrooms. As with all Barchester homes, there is a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish. For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane, which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens enable resident’s to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood. Meals are freshly prepared on-site by trained chefs, who provide a range of nutritious and tasty food, catering for special dietary requirements when needed.

Sohail Daniel
Hi, my name is Sohail, and I am the Senior General Manager here at Trinity Manor Welcome to our website!
As a Registered General Nurse, I have worked within the private care home sector ever since 2009, where I have been able to learn, develop and share my skill set in order to benefit the residents I look after.
During my time working within the dementia sector, I was able to access specialist knowledge on how to encourage and enhance the lives of the individuals within my care in order to facilitate living life to the fullest in the most independent and dignified way possible.
Finding ways to adapt and overcome situations, so that residents can still really enjoy all the things they love, has always been a great passion of mine; showcasing that you really can live well with dementia.
Supporting the families of those in our care is also something that I feel very strongly about, and from the time of enquiry, through to moving in and beyond, I aim to support the families as much as the resident themselves. This can often be a huge change as their loved-one adapts to new surroundings, but I am well aware of how important reassurance and constant communication is for all involved. This is something that the Kings Park family are very good at as a whole, and I am so lucky that I get to share all my knowledge and work with such a fantastic team.
