Kings Park Care Home in Ferndown
Kings Park in Ferndown provides excellent 24-hour residential care in a warm and friendly environment. Alongside long-term care, we also offer short-term breaks for respite and intermediate care. Our experienced and dedicated team are ready to deliver exceptional standards of compassionate care, which focus on the individual needs of each resident.
The home features a wide range of facilities including a café leading onto our landscaped gardens, a hair and beauty salon, and luxurious spa bathrooms. As with all Barchester homes, there is a full and varied schedule of virtual and live activities each and every day which residents are welcome to get involved in as much or as little as they wish. For those living with dementia, there is a dedicated area called Memory Lane, which offers high quality care and thoughtful touches to help make life easier. Features, such as adapted crockery and tableware, sensory gardens with low risk walkways and activity kitchens enable resident’s to engage in life's everyday simple tasks and pleasures.
Care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person-centred approach. Staffing levels reflect the needs of residents, and people living with dementia are offered a range of activities to help preserve life skills, support interactions and retain a sense of purpose and selfhood. Meals are freshly prepared on-site by trained chefs, who provide a range of nutritious and tasty food, catering for special dietary requirements when needed.

Our Team
Sebastian Ouseph
Hi, my name is Sebastian.
I am the General Manager here at Kings Park Care Home and welcome to our website!
I started my working life as a nurse in acute hospitals and have since worked in differing roles in care home management since 2014.
I believe that team work is an integral part of what makes a great home environment and I very much enjoy leading the wonderful team of people here at Kings Park. Making sure that the residents in our care are treated with upmost dignity and respect is of great importance for us here in the home and this is something I feel very passionately about.
When not at work I like to spent my time in the company of my young son. I also enjoy travelling and experiencing new places and cultures, as well as playing cricket and football. I love animals, in particular birds, dogs & cats.
I have helped hundreds of people to move to care homes from the community and clearly understand that finding a care home for your loved one can be a stressful time, but we are here to make that transition as easy as possible for everyone involved. So if you, or someone you care for is looking for a care home, then we would love to see you. You are most welcome to stop in at any time for a lovely cuppa, home-made cake and a chat with myself and my friendly team, who will be very happy to show you all that our fabulous home has to offer.
I love meeting new people, so please stop by and say 'hello' and you will be made very welcome indeed!
