Parley Place Care Home in West Parley

Barchester's newest care home in West Parley is scheduled to open in spring 2022. The home is purpose-built and specifically designed to deliver first class quality residential and dementia care for older people in a homely, yet secure environment.

Our dedicated Memory Lane community, for residents living with dementia, enjoys a fully stocked activities room with dementia friendly games, puzzles and our ‘Magic Table’, an award-winning, innovative interactive light projector that is proven to help staff promote stimulation through specialised games. Additionally, our interior space, colours and bedrooms are all designed to help with difficulties associated with dementia.

Care plans will be based on the needs of our residents; we treat each person as an individual. Our dedicated staff members will provide high quality residential care for older people who would benefit from additional care and support in a warm and friendly environment. Our team will attend to residents’ individual needs with professionalism and a caring attitude.

Our ground floor rooms all have access to landscaped gardens and we have a variety of unique spaces to make life at Parley Place enjoyable, including a hair salon, spa bathrooms, a cinema and a bar lounge area with a large external terrace, plus much more.

Types of care

The care we provide is delivered in a way that promotes independence for those who live in our home. Where possible, it is important that residents are encouraged to perform daily tasks independently or with minor support. Our services are devised with individualised treatment in mind for each person, so getting to know everyone and understanding their needs is imperative to delivering bespoke, person-centred care.
