It was my first experience attending the regular Professional Networking event this morning at Parley Place. I was invited by Gina and Michelle and made to feel very welcome. I met some great people from various professions and I have already connected with two of them after the event. As an independent Occupational Therapist and having worked with the NHS for 17 years and social care for 2, I miss connecting with others and this event really made me feel energised and valued! Thank you to the team and I look forward to attending many more!

Parley Place support my charity, a local hospice. We are delighted that they allow us to hold meetings at the home and are overwhelmed by the friendliness of the staff and the beauty of the property. It's stunning! Thank you Parley Place!

Visited my aunt who has been staying here for a while now, as it's her 100th birthday soon and we're away for her celebration. Staff very helpful and friendly. Even met a visiting cat 🐈 .

I hosted my 'Upcycled Jewellery Workshop' at Parley Place and I was absolutely delighted with it!

The room was beautiful, the air conditioning was a total luxury and the refreshments were way above expectations! We all had a lovely time and I've received fabulous feedback from the whole group.

I took my nieces to a surprise jewellery making class which was held at the 'care home'. Parley Place certainly isn't what you would imagine a care home to be! Instead all the rooms are furnished with high quality comfortable modern furniture worthy of a show home. The staff were all super friendly and they even supplied an assortment of complementary drinks for both children and adults, as well as delicious pastries and cakes. A first class experience was had by all. Thank you.

Charity Quiz Night for Julias House.
Staff at Parley Place Residential Home hosted a wonderful event on Friday. There was a fantastic atmosphere with an excellent Quiz Master who kept every participant in the quiz fully entertained at all times. There was a fabulous cheese selection provided with wine and other beverages to energise the teams. Everybody thoroughly enjoyed themselves and we were able to raise a great total for the our local Children's Hospice.

Attended a business meeting at Parley Place recently and was very impressed with the facilities. Nice quiet room provided with a lovely outlook and we even saw some deer!

I attended a Pamper Evening at Parley Place last week and was warmly welcomed by all the staff. The refreshments were first class in such beautiful surroundings. I have previously attended a Ladies Lunch at Parley Place and the meal was amazing! Well done to all!

Amazing charity quiz night this evening, with cheese and wine. Much fun was had by all. So much fun for everyone that attended. Parley Place in itself is a wonderful home for my mother, who is very happy here, and has been for over a year.

EMA's Senior Operations Manager Lisa Ward, was at this stunning care home for a Business breakfast this week. Wonderful hosting, great conversation with other businesses and superb food! Would highly recommend going to the next one if you can!

WOW! My first impressions when stepping in through the entrance was it was like being in a five star hotel. I was so impressed with the range of facilities on offer and how tastefully decorated the building is throughout, with luxurious seating and modern art. The team at Parley Place were very friendly and Michelle was extremely politely and hospitable. I look forward to coming back!

"Staff and carers are always polite, friendly and meet my needs. Activities are fun and varied. My room is pleasant and comfortable and clean. Parley Place has the feeling of a hotel. Lots of room to move around and the garden is lovely to sit in and walk around."

"My husband had a two week Respite care stay and was very happy and well cared for whilst there. The home is bright, clean and very welcoming. It's feels like a welcome hug when you walk through the doors. All the staff were cheerful and ready to help with any request. He enjoyed the change of scene, conversation and interaction with new people which gave him a lift on his outlook. I spoke to him on various occasions on social media and he had so much to relate about his day and the outings he went on. In fact he is saying he will look forward to his next visit when I take a Carers break in September. His room was warm and comfortable with his own facilities and he enjoyed looking out the window at the wildlife, especially the Rooks. I enjoyed a lunch in the dining room the day he went there and spent a few hours with him to get settled in. It didn't take him long to feel at home. Thank you one and all for your care and attention during his stay."

"Mum stayed 9 nights at Parley Place so I could have a break. She gets very anxious due to her dementia,but the team always put her at ease and seem to go the extra mile to make her stay as enjoyable as possible. I have no hesitation in putting mum in the great care of Parley Place and will be doing so every 8 weeks or so. Mum is fully aware that I need to have a break from her as I'm her sole carer and she insisted that she wouldn't want to go anywhere else but Parley Place. Thanks to all the staff as from the minute I drop her off I can switch off and get some me time."
