Moors Manor Care Home in St Leonards, Ringwood

Moors Manor is located just off the A31, on the New Forest-Dorset border, giving easy access to Bournemouth, Poole and the south coast. The home is situated on the edge of the Hurn & Avon Forest, with plenty of open spaces nearby to explore, and with Ringwood just a few minutes away, you can enjoy a bustling market town, with a wealth of shops to support all your shopping needs and many restaurants and bars to choose from to enjoy a meal.

At Moors Manor, we provide a range of accommodation and services for older people in need of support, from respite care to 24-hour residential care.

Dementia Care

We also provide specialist support for individuals living with dementia in our bespoke Memory Lane Community, where care is focused on independence, dignity and choice, with a person centred approach. We have also invested in a 'Magic Table' for our home, an interactive light projector designed to support people living with dementia through mentally and physically stimulating games.

The home benefits from a large garden with outdoor seating, which is complemented by balconies on the 1st and 2nd floors, giving panoramic views of the neighbouring woodlands and local wildlife.

Our modern facilities include a state of the art cinema room, relaxing spa bathrooms on all floors and a hair and beauty salon for residents to enjoy.

Activities are another area we believe holds a strong part in the well being of a resident here at Moors Manor. Whether it is art, gardening or flower arranging, it is all undertaken to ensure residents can live their lives to the fullest.

Our luxurious facilities, combined with highly trained staff ensure each and every individual is given superior attention. We look forward to welcoming you when our homes opens!

We have created a video to showcase our stunning care home, which you can view below:

Our Team

The dedicated and experienced team are passionate about providing quality care to each individual living at the home.

Jenna May

General Manager

Hi, my name is Jenna and I am the General Manager here at Moors Manor Care Home. Welcome to our website!

I have worked in senior healthcare roles, including the Royal Bournemouth Hospital, and have spent the past ten years working in management - in a nursing home environment, having experienced domiciliary, acute and nursing care settings. I understand and empathise with challenges residents and their families are going through when looking for a care for themselves or their loved ones. It is my mission to ensure the transition is as smooth as possible.

Supporting the families of those in our care is something that I feel very strongly about, and from the time of enquiry, through to moving in and beyond, I aim to be there for the families as much as the residents themselves. Moving into a care home can often be a huge change as their loved-one adapts to new surroundings, get to know all of the teams supporting residents with their needs. I am well aware of how important the reassurance and constant communication is for all involved. This is something that the Moors Manor family are very good at as a whole, and I am so lucky that I get to share all my knowledge and work with such a fantastic team.

My ethos is ensuring that each and every resident live their lives to the full, celebrating each day in a warm and welcoming environment, with a range of life enriching activities tailored to residents’ interests and abilities, outstanding person-centred care and most delicious food prepared by our talented chefs at Moors Manor. Being a resident of St. Leonards myself, I have great links with local community, giving the residents opportunity to still feel part of our local community.
