Activities at Ochil Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Pet Therapy

We said farewell recently to our Pet Therapy dog Willie who has gone to Rainbow Bridge. He will be very much missed!

However residents and staff gave a very warm welcome to Evie, our new visiting Pet Therapy dog. Evie is a 7 year old Schipperke who just loves to be petted!

Tea Dance

We received an invite from PKAVS for 4 residents to attend a Tea Dance at McDiarmid Park in Perth. So on June 26th 2018 four of our residents and two staff donned their dancing shoes and off they went!

On arrival at McDiarmids we received a warm welcome and were  shown to our reserved table which was laden with assorted refreshments. Residents were invited up to the dance floor and they thoroughly enjoyed the dancing, chatting to others, refreshments and came home still singing!

Cupar Angus Senior Citizens

Cupar Angus Senior Citizens

On Tuesday 20th June, Ochil opened its doors to welcome a senior citizens Group from Cupar Angus.

The group, along with their team leader, Michael, enjoyed tea and cake whilst mingling with some residents in the dining room.

Our visitors had a look round the home and were very impressed with the setting and facilities, and were delighted to be given a Barchester goody bag before leaving.

They are already looking forward to a return visit later in the year.

Oakbank Primary
