Although I haven’t quite travelled the world yet (!) I have enjoyed my 31 years as a Registered Nurse in London, Dundee, Brighton, Isle of Guernsey and Perth. I joined the team at Ochil in 2003, not intending to stay that long but I’m still here!!
I was promoted to Senior Nurse in August 2017 and look forward with optimism to leading a great team with new energy. A new chapter in promoting great care infused with lots of laughter!
I took up post as the Activities Coordinator at Ochil in February 2020, and I was very excited to start. Previous jobs have involved working outdoors, and I ran a visiting animal business for a number of years, which has people of all ages and abilities interacting with our animals in a fun and educational way.
I see myself as fun, friendly and hardworking, and if I can make someone’s day by making them smile, then it’s all worth it.
I am married with two children, and we are a family that have a real passion for animals and have a variety of pets.
I am the Charge Nurse of the Memory Lane Community here at Ochil. I have been a Registered General Nurse for 30 years, with 15 years of experience caring for people with Dementia. I gained a Level 1 Dementia Care qualification several years ago. I have been in post at Ochil since 2014.
I have been a Registered Nurse for over 35 years. I was a Pediatric Nurse for 27 years in my home country of Romania and I moved to the UK and took up post as a Registered Nurse at Ochil in 2011, and was promoted to Charge Nurse in August 2018. I love my job and look forward to coming to work every day.
I have been a Registered Nurse since 2007 and joined the team at Ochil in 2015. I was promoted to the role of Senior Nurse in August 2017.
I deal with all aspects of the administration of the home to ensure it runs smoothly, including invoicing, ordering, recruitment, setting up contracts and manning the telephones. There's never a dull day!
