Activities at Ochil Care Home

Our home is always full of life, and we can thank our wonderful Activities Coordinators for this. Dedication to creating a unique and interesting activities programme is what sets us apart from other homes. We always take into consideration that some people would prefer to pursue their own interests, which is why our team strive to incorporative activities that cater to a wide range of tastes and hobbies. Our trips out are always fun and exciting as well, and residents are guaranteed to return with stories to tell their loved ones!

Life at Ochil Care Home

Endless Love

Endless Love

Residents and visitors enjoy the regular karaoke afternoons here at Ochil. The afternoons are filled with the sound of music, bringing impromptu dancing and lots of fun and laughs. There is no doubt that our residents enjoyed the delights this time round, as they were served a glass of refreshing Pimm's during the warm afternoon.

Music therapy is a popular session at the home and the calendar of events are aimed at promoting residents well-being through music, exercise and social interaction.

Dog Show

Ochil held a dog show on the 20th of July to raise money for a local charity called P.A.D.S Perth’s abandoned dogs society. We raised £325 and half went to our resident’s fund and £162.50 was giving to the charity. We had 9 dogs entries from residents' families and friends, and everyone had a great time.
